Familiar Companions

Familiars serve as mount companions enabling ground speed boosts, aerial flight, and aerial dash traversal between Eona's Legacy mills. They represent collectible adventure allies separate from combat heroes — adorable designs aid exploration without participating directly in tag-team battles except through mount-specific world interactions.

The Deluxe Edition includes exclusive Familiar Valiant Hatchling as a cosmetic collection item. Paid DLC Familiars are cosmetic-only. All gameplay-relevant Familiar abilities remain obtainable free through standard progression according to developer Q&A.

Claim Free Abyssal Direwolf (Until August 31, 2026)

Hound13 offers the Abyssal Direwolf Familiar DLC free until August 31, 2026 at 07:00 KST. Add it to your Steam library during the window to keep it permanently; afterward it returns to paid pricing (~₩8,600).

On Steam, open Familiar : Abyssal Direwolf and click Add to Library.
Launch the game (restart if it was already running).
Open Codex → Familiar, select Abyssal Direwolf, and claim it.
Equip from the Familiar menu on any hero.

Traversal Mechanics
