DragonSword: Awakening Tower of Trials Guide

Last updated: August 2026

Moon Keys, floor rewards, Karma fragment farming, and solo climb strategy for structured endgame progression.

What Is the Tower of Trials?

The Tower of Trials is a solo structured endgame mode at launch — instanced floors with escalating difficulty and crafting rewards tied to Karma progression. Producer JYJ referenced Tower content alongside Raids and Hunts in the May 2026 developer stream embedded below. Nothing forces multiplayer; solo clears grant identical loot.

Moon Keys and Entry

Moon Keys unlock Tower floors. Earn keys primarily from Regional Missions — prioritize missions feeding your current ascension bottleneck rather than clearing every region daily. Keys are a finite daily resource; spend them on floors whose reward tables match your Karma ascension plan from the Karma guide.

Floor Rewards and Strategy

Each floor drops materials for Karma crafting fragments and exclusive keys mentioned in developer AMA answers. Bring ailment coverage validated in the Team Builder — Tower elites punish one-dimensional Stun-only or Bleed-only teams when resistance rotates mid-fight. Stock meal buffs from the cooking system before long climb sessions.

Progression Priority

Tower complements but does not replace World Boss duplicate farming. Run Tower when Moon Keys accumulate and your main DPS has Breakthrough headroom; pause Tower pushes if Regional Mission Scrolls or Forging Molds become the limiting factor. Pair with Daily Regional Missions scheduling and Hero Upgrade priorities.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where do Moon Keys come from?
Primarily Regional Missions. Focus missions matching your current Karma or skill upgrade bottleneck rather than clearing every region.
Can I pause Tower to farm World Bosses?
Yes. Tower and World Boss dupes serve different ascension goals — alternate based on which material limits your main DPS.
