Johnny Mercenary operates outside formal structures, giving Lute access to diverse companions.

Dragon Threat Timeline

Historical records describe a dragon pushing the continent to near destruction until six heroes rose. Sixty years of peace follow until the dragon returns during Lute's journey. Main quest progression searches for the old heroes' legacy while recruiting new companions who may become the next generation of saviors — the Dragon Sword prophesied to save Orbis.
