DragonSword: Awakening How to Use Castella

Last updated: August 2026

Break and Stun axe combos, Super Armor break, and treasure-hunter personality in tag teams.

Castella's Combat Identity

Castella is an eccentric Elf archaeologist obsessed with treasure — her personality drives many early Orbis side quests. In combat she wields an axe applying Break and Stun, designed to chip Super Armor gauges efficiently on elites and Field Giant Bosses. Producer JYJ highlighted her as the ideal opener in the official tag-combo preview with Lute and Aria.

Super Armor Break Loop

Open fights with Castella's spin skills to deplete the white Super Armor bar. Once broken, swap to Lute for Stun and Knockdown follow-ups or Aria for Fire and Airborne detonations. Castella also excels at breaking destructible walls during exploration — switch to her when blocked paths appear in meadow routes.

Team Placement

Castella anchors the tutorial trio showcased across marketing and the embedded tag-combo video. Pair with Stun teams or hybrid comps using Aria for explosive finishers. Read her full Castella character profile for recruitment through Johnny Mercenary story progression.
