DragonSword: Awakening Patch 1.0.3 — World Boss Reset & Promotion Door

Patch 1.0.3 Overview — July 24, 2026

Shortly after Patch 1.0.2, Hound13 published Update Notes 1.0.3 on the Steam news hub. The patch targets two high-impact progression blockers reported by launch-week players farming endgame loops and climbing the Mercenary Corps promotion track.

Changelog

• Fixed an issue where World Bosses and Sudden Missions were not being reset
• Fixed an issue in the Intermediate Promotion Quest where the prison door would not open

Why This Matters

World Bosses and Sudden Missions feed daily loot and Merc Guide discovery. When they failed to reset, players lost a core endgame loop documented in our Endgame Hunts & Raids guide. The Intermediate Promotion prison door softlock stranded mercenaries mid-rank — after updating, reopen the quest and interact with the door again.
